The 328Ci is comparable to the 330Ci and it is definitely performance wise leaps behind the M3 in both acceleration, handling, and durability. The 335xi is as fast as the M3 in acceleration, and even in faster in some regards without the need to chip. It has great power delivery, good torque, but doesnt handle as well stock for stock.

Active Autowerke's Stg 1 kit doesn't have an intercooler and at $4400 it's one of the best deals around.
