First, sorry for poor video. However, this should contain all the information you need. Problem: car system does not recognize rear door was closed. Informat
Guest foxia. Guests. Posted April 12, 2008. My citroen c3 1.4i desire does the same thing, happened twice now! I looked in the manual and found out how to manually lock the doors. There is a sticker inside of passenger doors, peel off then insert a key to turn, lock driver door and the car should be secure.
Its a common fault that aftermarket radios cause the central locking to operate incorrectly. Short answer is you need to get the radio fitted correctly. Citroen do a short wiring adapter to assist in this. I suggest you return the vehicle to who ever fitted it and get them to resolve the problem. Reconnect the vehicle battery, wait a further 10 seconds (do not open doors.). Switch on the side lights through the driver's window. Switch on the ignition and check system's functionality. Hold lock button on key down for 10 seconds. Remove key open & close door test central locking system. Start the engine and complete the system's check.
