A 26x2.8 measure 27.4 inches, fits just fine in my 26" fox 36 or rockshox Lyrik. X fusion made a fork ( the metric) that they didn't bother to change for 27.5 cause it had plenty of clearance. You can't run big tires, but 2.3 usually work. To be clear, I'm talking specifically about the 35/36mm 160mm+ forks
The actual diameters of the rims are: 26″=22in/559mm. 27.5″=23in/584mm. The difference in rim diameter between 26″ and 27.5″ wheels is closer to 1in/25mm than 1.5in/37.5mm. The bottom bracket is expected to drop approximately 0.5in or 12.7mm. So, the tires are flat if the 26-inch electric bicycle kit is on the 27.5 frames.
Installed 27.5 wheelset on my 29er Trek X caliber and it was good!If you want to see the previous videos, here are the links:Wheelset and fork installation:h
Acceleration is faster and easier on smaller wheels compared to larger ones. This means when comparing 26 inch wheels and 27.5 inch wheels, acceleration performance is better on the 26 inch wheels. This is thanks to lower weight which creates a lower moment of inertia. The result is faster acceleration.
Bicycle suspension is the system, or systems, used to suspend the rider and bicycle in order to insulate them from the roughness of the terrain. Bicycle suspension is used primarily on mountain bikes, but is also common on hybrid bicycles . Bicycle suspension can be implemented in a variety of ways, and any combination thereof: Front suspension
It is just that for that end of the market they may be afraid that the aftermarket customer looking for a new fork would be afraid that a 26" fork wouldn't suit their 27.5" wheels. [Reply] 1 0
